BRITS have woken up to the first day of December and there is nothing better than a lovely bit of chocolate in the mornings.
Maybe you are a little late to the party? Well if you haven’t picked up your advent calendar yet, don’t fret because you may be able to get the best bargains.
Supermarkets have started to slash the prices of their advent calendars and there is still a chance to nab one before the first day of the month is over.
Asda has reduced the price of its Lindt, Cadbury, and Ferrero Rocher advents calendars and prices start from 93p.
One savvy shopper flocked to Facebook to share the festive advent calendar deals she spotted in Asda.
In the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, she said: “Sometimes it pays to be forgetful advent all reduced in Asda.”
The savvy shopper shared snaps of the mountains of advent calendars the retailer still had in stock.
In the snap we can see Lindt advent calendars have been reduced to £3 – £5 in Asda, original prices for the calendars went up to £12.
Cadbury fans will be pleased to know Cadbury advent calendars have also been reduced with some going for less than a quid.
Prices for the Cadbury advent calendars start from 93p and go up to £2.50.
Ferrero Rocher advent calendars were priced at £12 in Asda stores when they first came out but now you can grab one for less than half price at £5 in store.
The post has racked up hundreds of likes and comments in just a few hours.
One user said: “I said to my other half I’m going to get myself an advent calendar tomorrow he just laughed I said they will all be reduced.”
Another said: “Quick run to Asda.”
“Still time to get me one,” proclaimed a third.
We recommend you act quickly with these deals as they will only be available for as long as stock lasts.
You will need to head in-store for these bargains as the advent calendars are still listed at full price on the Asda website.

It seems Asda is not the only retailer to slash the price of its advent calendars.
B&M has bargain calendars in-store with prices starting from £1.
Iceland has prices starting from 62p and a 340g Cadbury Dairy Milk Advent Calendar down to £3.50 from £7.
There is a chance other retailers will reduce the price of their advent calendars so make sure you keep an eye out.
