A hay fever product sold by B&M has been commended by shoppers who have called it “brilliant”.
With pollen season well underway, many of those who suffer from the condition will have already experienced symptoms such as a runny nose, itchy eyes, congestion, and sneezing.
The budget retailer stocks Nuage Pollen Barrier Balm, which claims to trap pollen and prevent it from triggering allergies.

The product description on B&M’s website reads: “Don’t let pollen and allergies ruin your day! Whether it’s work or play, stay on track with Nuage Pollen Barrier Balm.
“Suitable for daily use, and for children. An allergen barrier with aloe vera.”
One satisfied shopper took to Facebook to share news of the product with others who suffer from allergies.
Posting in the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, they wrote: “Found in B&M for £1! For all you guys with hay fever, pet allergies and dust allergies! They have face wipes as well for the same purpose!”

It wasn’t long before the post attracted dozens of likes and comments from fellow consumers sharing their thoughts.
One revealed: “Works well for me I have guinea pigs and have very bad allergies to hay and after I handle or clean them out I always wipe myself down with the wipes and shower that evening.”
A second shared: “Thanks for posting, I bought some of the Kleenex allergy wipes as I make my eyes sore rubbing and they seem to be doing the trick as they are decent and cooling without irritation.
“I’ve tried normal water wipes and they still seem to irritate compared to these allergy ones. Not keen on the price though so I need to take a trip for these to try.”
“We use this it’s brilliant,” wrote a third.
A fourth meanwhile said: “Oooo amazing thanks”.
Other members of the group suggested alternatives for those suffering from bad hay fever, with one commenting: “Vaseline also does the same job as well”.
A second stated: “The wipes home bargains sell are really good. Might be the same brand I can’t remember.”
