IF you’re a smart cookie and thinking ahead to the new school term you might be aware now is the best time to buy a school uniform.
It seems supermarkets have some of the best deals at the moment, with prices so low you can kit your kid out for less than a fiver.
Shoppers are rushing to buy Lidl and Aldi bargain cut-price uniforms which see jumpers starting at just £1.50.
The bargains go on sale from 6 July but you’ll want to get in there quickly as we can’t see stock lasting long.
The deals are stackable as well so you can mix and match between whatever you child needs whether it is skirts or trousers.
One savvy shopper shared the savvy bargains on Facebook.
Taking to Extreme Couponing And Bargains UK the bargain hunter said she wasn’t in need of the deal but hoped to help out some parents.
She said: “Lidl are selling well priced uniforms once again. Not necessary for me anymore, I’ve got uni expenses to think about instead.”
“But I’m sure it will help out those of you with younger children.”
Aldi says kids school sweatshirts £31.50, a pack of two kids polo shirts £1.75 and a two pack of kids school pinafore £6.99.
Alongside this 50p will be donated to the NSPCC from the sale of selected school uniforms.

Many were raving about the deals.
One user pointed out the bargain prices didn’t reflect the quality of the uniforms.
They said: “These red jumpers are just as good as M&S if not better. They washed great, didn’t shrink, fade or lose shape.”
A second user pointed out competing supermarket Aldi are also selling uniform at bargain prices.
They said: “Aldi have there’s on Thursday as well.”
Another said: “Wish secondary uniform was this cheap.”
A third user said: “I got a few things last year. Everything was great apart from boys trousers and shorts. They were literally so thin they were see-through.”
“Makes ya mad when ya see a uniform so cheap but still see many barons in small ones or washed out one.”
