Is it just us or does it feel like it’s been raining all May?

With the weather not quite cooperating, it’s risky business to venture out without a coat or umbrella for protection.

And the same goes for your pets on their outdoor excursions.

To help protect your pooch from the elements, Primark is now selling adorable rain coats for dogs.

Shoppers were alerted to the coats through popular Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

The raincoats have gone down a treat online with the original post receiving over 20,000 comments and 6,000 likes.

The raincoats are available in three styles (Picture: Extreme Couponing and BargainsUK/Facebook)

Available in three styles, the mini coats are not only practical but cute too.

Treat your dog to a yellow Winnie The Pooh cover-up for £7, go classic with a transparent style that retails for £6 or introduce some colour with a chic red and pink version that is also £6.

Each coat also comes with a spacious hood to keep your dog safe and sound from the rain.

Those in the comments loved the creations and some even shared pictures of their own dogs sporting the rain gear.

While another said: ‘Perfect for my girl! She’s outgrown two coats in four weeks.’
